Attachments

In our ordinary state, we attach to the phenomena but not the source. Enlightenment is when we return to the Mind and realize your true face.

In Zen practice we release the attachments we have cultivated in our lives. However, if we continue to label people and circumstances, we adopt the same patterns of behavior toward them. Only when we destroy all the patterns we have built can we see the true nature of our mind and find lasting peace.
