Thinking based on Dharma, vexations and habits can be subdued; Practicing based on Dharma, karma can be eliminated and changed. Vexations in mind are caused by thoughts that deviate from Dharma. Practice inconsistent with Dharma easily attracts adversity to be manifested. – Master Miao Tsan
