Emptiness

The universe, dirty or clean as you may interpret it to be, is the image in the mirror. The mind essence, however, is absolute purity. The mirror is not soiled by the image it reflects. Instead, the mind transcends all of its manifestations, and in that sense it stands alone.

The Mind is emptiness, but it can the totality of every moment. The mind is eternally stable, but it is flexible. Cease all illusion and grasping; that is the eternally vivid Buddha Nature. by Master Gu Ling

Thought, the physical body, the environment and the whole of existence manifest at the same moment. Your thoughts and body are tiny specks in that totality, like the shadows of two small planets amid the glow of a great sun.
