Attachment

Human beings create suffering because we use our habitual thoughts to define reality, and in the process we distort it. Just as the boat used to cross a river should be abandoned upon arrival at the shore, thoughts are only tools for better living. They do not define the essence of who we are. We can, however, elevate our lives by recognizing our attachment to habitual thoughts and letting them go.

Once we clear away the old thinking and beliefs, we create space for fresh ideas and inspirations that will lead to better actions and results. There is no need for us to cling to old tools that no longer serve a purpose.
